Aaron Gu Yi

Aaron Gu Yi, based at Tricon’s Shanghai office, is primarily responsible for managing our PET business in Asia. Aaron joined Tricon in 2011, starting as a trader for various containerized chemicals. He has been focusing on trading of PET Resin since 2013 and brings over 10 years of experience in international chemicals’ trading. Aaron graduated from South East University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Science and Engineering.

Sara Salucci

Sara Salucci joined Tricon in 2012 and together with the Italy team developed Tricon’s polymer distribution business in the country, making Tricon one of the most known and respected distributors in Italy. Sara is now managing Tricon Dry Chemicals Italy Branch. Sara is Italian and has lived in the northern part of the country (Bologna and Cesena) and spent one year in the USA. She graduated from Bologna University in Organizational Management and also has a postgraduate Masters in Business Administration. Prior to joining Tricon, she worked at the third largest compounder in Europe as a Purchasing Manager and General Manager.

Ritesh Kothari

Ritesh Kothari is the Director of Global Operations for our polymers business and oversees the Tricon India office. He joined Tricon in 2011 as an Accounting Supervisor, responsible for developing the back office, and later promoted to manage Plastic Operations. He migrated to the USA from India and has been a Houstonian for more than 20 years. Ritesh holds a Bachelors in Accounting and Masters in Finance from Texas A&M University. Prior to joining Tricon, he worked at Deloitte in their Financial Services Group.

Company growth

Tricon was founded in 1996 with an initial focus on liquid chemicals and petrochemicals. Over the past two decades, we have grown significantly both in terms of our product offerings and our global coverage. We expanded into Plastics in 2007, Fuels in 2015, and Raw Materials and Fertilizers in 2017. Our growth was built around our commitment to providing value to our business partners through logistics, risk management, finance, and market intelligence services. We have continued to grow our business both by expanding existing product lines and also through expansion into related markets. Over the past seven years, our revenues have more than doubled and our volumes have tripled.
