Tricon Energy, as a constantly expanding operation, is always seeking to fill positions.
The hiring process consists of an initial resume submission, followed by rounds of interviews, and will include a brief personality test. After each round, candidates are short-listed, allowing us to focus on those candidates that we feel have the highest potential to fit the position we are looking to fill and serve as long-term employees. Throughout the process, we like to keep in touch with the candidates to let them know their progress. Depending upon the methods used, the steps listed below can vary. But, a general summary of the following interview steps include:

Interviews
First round typically consists of an interview with the supervisor of the area responsible for the position. This is to allow us to meet you, learn about your interests and personality, and gives you the chance to ask questions about the position and Tricon in general.
After the 1st round, candidates are short-listed and those who have the highest potential to fit the position will be invited for a 2nd interview. During this 2nd interview, the interview typically includes one or more traders, a number of Operations staff, and other senior leadership within Tricon.
Round 3 interviews will typically serve as the final interview, and include an interview with our CEO, if the position is based in Houston, or the leader of the other office who is typically a partner in the company.
Personality Profile
In addition, a major portion of our success comes from finding the right talent with the right personality that will help the individual succeed within Tricon. For this reason, each of our candidates is asked to take a personality test, which assesses a variety of personality traits that we find to be common in the various positions within Tricon. The timing for this varies, but is often conducted between the Round 1 and Round 2 interviews.
We are always looking for new talents, and encourage you to begin the application process.
